It's between two women now. First is Catherine Connolly, a socialist who represented my constituency growing up. Second is Heather Humphreys, a centre-right politician. The last President, lovingly referred to as Miggeldy Higgins, served for 14 years.

For my US moots who aren't up following Irish politics, the presidential race is pretty entertaining so far. Both McGregor and a far-right politician didn't secure enough votes to run. A landlord candidate had to dropout for keeping tenants money illegally. Front runner (below) is a socialist woman.

I would clean up her stinky poops a thousand times over because she really put the work in this weekend as an emotional support animal. She was extra cuddly all weekend. Was that because she was missing her main food provider? Probably but I like to think she knew I needed extra cuddles
