A wee trip up the road to Belfast shouldn't be too hard to fit in?

Yes! Forgot about that.

Beek is used in Belfast to mean skipping school. Quite appropriate really. As in "triple maths today, I'm going on the beek"

Showed the Mrs this, and now she's in a huff with me because I broke her white one of those 20 years ago!

The charity shops round me are stocked with Jim reeves or Richard Clayderman. Never had any luck in them.

They had everything. From stainless sheet to heavy steel. Would love to get myself a welder and kit my own house out with gate and stuff. Mcances would be where I would go.

I used to make fancy gates for a small firm and always found Mcances in Duncrue were always easy to deal with. Let you use their grinder to cut your lengths up for transport.

Bangor does the late night art thing at the end of every month on a Thursday night. Usually tie that in with a visit to Bending sounds and a few pints.

You probably know about Bending Sound record shop in Bangor. Great shop, lots of selection and the best Guinness you'll find in the north just round the corner in Feiltys. Worth a trip.
