There's lots of data about the usage of web constantly declining, replaced by time on closed platforms (FB, Insta, TikTok) and apps. I think it's true.

What are "only the web can do this" experiences you've seen? I want to create as a big a list as possible

Found a neat CSS trick to automatically swap between black or white text based on any arbitrary background color!

With relative color syntax, you can use calc to adjust the text color depending if the background is above or below 50% lightness in the LCH color space.

performance pro tip. if some loading interaction is slow, try removing the spinner. sometimes a spinner makes things slower.

i don’t mean just perception-wise. spinners can actually eat CPU
