I got it out!!
I really don't want to open up this engine, first, it'll have to come out, then there are 4 timing chains on the back end of the engine. It would be many hundreds just in tensioners, guides, and gaskets.

The tubular end of my endoscope fell off, it's way down this hole...sitting on top of the piston.

We just got back from an island in NB where it seems everything is bright red this time of year. We were just observing that Ontario is more yellows and oranges.

We are going to build our cottage somewhere in these spruce trees. It's a protected wetland on this side so have to maintain a 30m buffer zone.
There's moose paths and poop all over the place.

The cottage beer fridge finally died. We are renting a cottage on an island, the beer fridge died. It's ancient and apparently spent the first half of it's life in this other cottage at the other end of the island. New one is coming Thursday.

The cottage beer fridge finally died. We are renting a cottage on an island, the beer fridge died. It's ancient and apparently spent the first half of it's life in this other cottage at the other end of the island. New one is coming Thursday.

So I finally got back on the motorcycle. It's been a year since I've been riding, lots of physiotherapy for a slightly messed up shoulder. Still doesn't feel right, but so far so good.

I have a 1985 model sitting in my garage, same colours. Been considering selling it...I wonder what it's worth? It's in decent shape, but not pristine.
Last time I rode it was at the drag strip, it was a blast. I was bad at it, it's not as easy as it looks. (I was #676)

A friend built one with a 4.5 liter V8 out of an Infiniti, I drove it on the track once, it was a hoot. It was also orange (eventually). Called it the 450Z, had a chrome badge made up.

That tree just didn't want to fall, it took all day to cut it into 6' sections and try to yank it over with a winch. All I had was an electric chainsaw that kept throwing it's chain and falling apart.
Anyhow, it's down and I'm sore today.
