Taking away health care is reprehensible. Removing mental health care support while creating the conditions that will trigger crises is unforgivable. Doing it all to finance tax cuts to their cabal of crypto-fascist oligarch buddies is diabolical.
The human cost of this will be hundreds of thousands losing mental health and medical insurance coverage. Senator Murphy lays out exactly what is on the line.

I’m hoping Dem governors have a plan in place if federal funding ends. After all, they don’t need to cut programs if they cut all the people administering those programs. Maybe have a plan to intercept, collect, and hold federal taxes for possible use by the state in the event of continued trouble?

During the 1990s, President Bush started - and Pesident Clinton continued to cut the US military budget by 15% between 1992-1998. I saw how a shuttered AFB in San Bernardino resulted in the overnight gutting of an entire community’s economy. What’s being proposed now will tank the entire US economy.
