I would imagine the kids are terrified at this point after everything that has happened. It might be good to let them be in a safe space, whether it be in their home or out of town, for their mental health.

What is needed is a national strike. The government cannot force people to buy goods or services and there are limited circumstances where they can force them to work. A prolonged national strike, opposed to “riots”, would take away their ability to declare an insurrection.

We need to start taking action in a way that they understand. Common decency, respect for our neighbors & empathy means nothing to them. The almighty dollar is all they care about. Collectively we must boycott the companies that support this administration. Let’s make a list, share & commit to it.
