Possibly not in this case, but this is generally so true. And unfortunately drama is so much more ‘exciting’ when something bad has happened. Starmer’s government has got far more right than wrong so far. Trump’s pollution of the body politic has a lot to answer for

One of the things I have often admired about mega rich Americans is how many of them consciously used their wealth to help those in need or to fund major health initiatives. Conspicuously lacking in this case.

It’s completely unhinged. Like the Today programme’s interview with a man objecting to living next to asylum seekers who ‘talked at night’ and did not have jobs, but ‘did not have parties or that sort of thing’.
