#Halifax is an underappreciated sports city IMO.
CPL, NSL and NLL all have good support there. #PWHL could easily work in Halifax.

I doubt anything will happen tbh. The backlash over this even has been fairly small/isolated.

The likes of Krafton and EA know the majority will continue to buy their (AI) games vs those who will boycott. Similar to those who said they'd boycott because of loot boxes and MtX being added in games :/

Getting an Apple product recent, I was honestly surprised at how many writers were upset at Apple for being behind in the "AI race", while praising the likes of Google & Meta for their investment into it.

The amount of people embracing AI, who would be the first ones replaced by it is...weird.

That is beyond disappointing. I’ve been using Ff since it first came out, and can’t stand Chromium browsers.

Guess I’ll have to eventually look at a fork of it.
It also feels like too many have already accept an “AI future” :/

Then I started paying closer attention to Apple News recently, and saw tech ‘writers’ criticizing Apple for being behind in the “AI race”, while singing praises for Google & Meta for investing in it.

It feels like most are fine with using/embracing AI :/

I guess because most areas in Niagara voted NDP, he wants to punish the region with a hideous Vegas North and unneeded larger airport.

I’ve talked to plenty who want regular GO trains here.
Not one has said they want more casinos or a bigger airport.

Also the regions healthcare is in rough shape.

I never understood the appeal of Florida anyway.

It’s such an ass backwards place with weird laws such as “stand your ground”, which is just legalized murder, and nothing to do with self-defence.

Mass shootings are more American than apple pie at this point. The Brown U shooting has been back page news since it's just another day in the good'ol USA.

Whereas Australia is already looking at tougher gun control, instead of "thoughts and prayers".

Maybe an awkward time to be making the move to #Apple products as they are losing employees etc.

But my biggest gripe with at least Samsung, is lack of long time update support.
My Samsung tablet received one security update and that was it. Likewise for my (older, mid-range) Samsung phone.

The #iPad Air has been refreshing to use.
File management takes a bit to get use to (use to using WinExplorer or Dolphin).

But otherwise the majority of things I do are easy and more enjoyable to do on the smaller device. It’s like having an 11” laptop now.

Cities Skylines 2 being the main game I miss while on the Deck.

But it’s giving me a chance to actually play games like #CultOfTheLamb and other similar games. Not to mention #ETS2 & #ATS have been a blast to play on the Deck!

Not to mention I miss my EA games (Sims 4, FIFA, Madden).

I thought Mack-adonia was bad enough 🤦‍♂️
