This has been my monthly cope over the fact I think about Acheron a lot, she's one of the best designed characters I've seen in recent years but don't wanna reinstall her game even though I think the gameplay's fine.

I'm a simple man. I want to buy weapon, fight to level, gain skills through a tree or from accessories like ToV and FF9 blah blah blah. Don't make me fight upgraded versions of past bosses once a day or week for mats to upgrade gear with characters that barely stood a chance the first time ._.

Real talk, hating rolling characters isn't even the thing that makes me mad enough to think this questionable thought. What I actually hated from the gacha I put the most time into was dealing with grabbing and upgrading gear and support stuff. Light cones in HSR I think? Been a while.

What if HSR was two games with a completely different set of party members, but if you link them or whatever the hell you go through the other version's story with your previous party, acknowledging your past achievements to whatever degree?
