Jack of Diamonds is a hosta with really cool leaves; I was satisfied with that. But it turns out it also has pretty purple flowers.

It's challenging to look at a bush full of flowers and find a composition interesting enough to photograph.
When I stepped into my backyard this morning with my camera, I didn't intend to photograph this mountain laurel. In fact, I didn't even know it was blooming, as it's in a less visible spot.

I am utterly appalled by how #47 and #2 are treating our allies. Zelensky has more guts than the both of them AND our entire Congress put together.
