Unfortunately being blind is not a good quality of life option for a frog since they rely so heavily on their eyesight for things like hunting and jumping. Many vet and eye specialist visits later and there was just no way to reverse this for him :(

No problem! They don't all do this and Flauta didn't the first winter he was with me, but he has every winter since. I turn off lights 2 weeks after his last meal and turn them back on when he's back out. It's very cute actually - he picks a hide and barricades the door with dirt when he goes 🥹

Thank you!!! They are the same morph. Axanthic is a lack of yellow and anery is a lack of red. They're known as axanthic but I think they're actually anery, since wild type halms are sooooo red and that's what is missing here
