Cutting your commute in half and making it possible to take city streets and not urban highways makes a big difference, too. I’m way more chill both ways - but still would prefer a viable public transit option & safe bike route.

A strike is a strike, and ALL of us are handing over way too much bargaining power, now and in the future, if we allow the college to continue with business as usual-ish with faculty teaching online and work-study students and part-timers doing unionized employees' jobs.
