23 (he/him). I’m pretty shy when interacting on large social media spaces, but I hope to be active on here and meet cool new people!

Big fan of JRPG’s, my favorites being Trails, Persona, and Xenoblade.
Same here, the Persona twitter community is generally not pleasant to engage with anyways given that it is twitter lol.

Places like Falcord (and like 30% of kisekitwt give or take) generally suck, but at least they kind of serve the role of being a containment zone for those people to settle in. The amount weirdos for the trails fanbase I used to see on the internet like 3-4 years ago was off the charts.

Same, I bought 13S when it launched on a whim because Atlus was publishing it. I hadn’t even heard of Vanillaware before, and the game was phenomenal

It helps that the art style makes it age really well, even though it’s nearing 10 years old.

All we need is just stuff like Sports leagues and Japanese users making the jump over to really make this growth last.

Mariabell is a riot to watch with how much drama she causes.

I can’t stress over how frequent it was to see videos that showcased gore or real people dying pop up on the timeline. And everything I blocked one account, another would pop up in it’s place

Same with writing in general. It’s a failure to realize that Japanese and English are extremely different languages and it’s almost impossible to do a perfect and accurate direct translation.

These people fail to realize that localization is not an exact science, there’s always going to be flaws.

Yeah sadly Vanillaware hasn’t had a history of making games on PC (iirc there was only 1 game they made on there way back in the day). It’s pretty good to see them still doing multi console releases though.

Greetings fellow Trails and Persona enjoyer!

I do appreciate how each arc has its own identity, both in terms of theming and setting/premise. It really helps Zemuria feel like a vast, varied place, where almost anything could happen.

Ikr, The gameplay formula of Trails generally follows the same pattern, but the arcs are definitely different and stand out from each other so they don’t get stale.

My tier list is pretty similar with the rankings.

Super agree about the last part. There’s no Trails game I actively dislike or hate, and that’s a remarkable thing to have for a game series this long.
