I hated that book and could never get more than a few chapters in. Given how big the show is I can only not assume the story is very very different than the source material, but it soured me permanently on anything related.

Years ago I had a coworker who would blame anything political she didn’t like either on Obama or Clinton depending on the timeframe. Oddly anybody between them never screwed up in her eyes.

I don’t think there’s anything in there about criminals being disallowed as well because I don’t think they thought that would ever happen.

Excuse? It’s in the constitution. Yes, there had to be some hand waving very early on but it’s been a while. Just because MAGA wants to use the constitution for toilet paper doesn’t mean we should do the same. It’s a shame, I think he’d be great.

This. There’s a difference between wanting as little intervention as possible but being down the hall from the interventions if things go south or it is so painful that yep, let’s go for that epidural and giving birth alone in the woods or something.
