Cologne Hbf with the station canopy and platforms. The platform is busy and a small child is pointing at something interesting. The child is nothing to do with me Cologne station showing a view across the platforms. A pink wall with a cartoon picture of a woman speaking into a megaphone is visible with the words DR KOCH ZÜTT seeming to come from the megaphone External view of the building of Cologne Hbf from the square outside the cathedral. There are people milling around, including a group of scouts, possibly from Sweden.

Cricket is a game of beautiful views. I maintain that this is one of the best on the county circuit. Shame about the tips of the pylons in the distance though
View of a cricket ground- the St Lawrence ground in Canterbury from the upper floor of the Woolley stand. A game is in progress. Two scoreboards show the score, one s modern LCD screen the other a traditional hand operated beast that’s overlooked the ground for nearly a century. One of the Glamorgan batters almost has his own century.

Hottest day of the year you say?
A cricket match at the St Lawrence ground in Canterbury. A Middlesex batsman faces up to a ball swinging around off a greenish pitch. The sky is blue, it’s hot and all is good with the world for a few hours. Especially with Kent taking wickets A view of the St Lawrence cricket ground at Canterbury. The trees may still be bare, but the sky is blue and it’s hot enough to eat ice cream. A Middlesex batsman faces up to a swinging ball, slip fielders waiting for a chance that never came. This time.

Wandering in Diss and came across this place. Normal for Norfolk
Government service scrap yard with Terminator style artwork sculpture. Also features anti-aircraft guns, bombs, missiles, and an anti-tank gun - all presumably decommissioned. And other general scrap. The gates of a government surplus scrap yard in Diss with various signs. Including “No parking, no clamps, no tickets, but we do have a large forklift” and “Military firing range”

Pretty. The minimal "snow" we had here has gone and it's no longer icy, but it's a lovely morning. And I don't have to go to work 😀
View over fields and hedgerows with a lovely blue winter's sky. There is no snow. None at all. This is the south. We don't do snow here very much.

What? There’s now a snow and ice warning covering the east coast. Why would you get my hopes up weather people?
