I use a bug sprayer with very warm water with a wallpaper remover added. What were you using?
Are your walls Plaster?
or sheetrock?
Do you have a picture of the room?

Thats the thing, if the paper soaks long enough, it comes off in strips. If it is coming off in tiny peices, the wallpaper hasn't soaked long enough. Soaking it long enough, (sometimes 1/2 hr. I use a bug sprayer withg wallpaper remover),it just peels right off the wall with no wall damage !

That works sometimes, but not all the time.
What kind of walls are they? Plaster? Sheetrock?
What kind of wallpaper is it?
Vinyl paper? metalic paper? just paper?
Different papers have different ways to come off easier and cleaner without damage to the walls

Sometimes wallpaper comes off really easy, sometimes its a hassle. There are many types of wallpapers. Each has their own technique to be removed. Were the walls preped before the wp was hung? Are these plaster or sheet rock walls? Was the wp painted over?
