Still trying to get around the idea of the White House now hosting a car lot. Having images of Keir Starmer hawking Range Rovers in Parliament Square...

Please consider joining www.aclu.org (I have) or sending a donation. Civil rights are under attack in the US. As the Auschwitz museum reminds us industrialised murder didn't just appear from nowherr. It came from dehumanising and othering. From words to mass murder.

Europe should start their own Facebook alternative. It's needed. And its time to stop making American billionaires . As the world needs change. Change is good. Can't evolve without change.

Oh, USA, don't feel too bad. After all, you had a pretty good run of it for 250-odd years. Maybe the biggest con was on yourselves, being convinced the Constitution and 'checks and balances' would make the rise of tyranny impossible. Good luck to you all...

We can simply offer them on an indefinite loan. The BM can burn off its shame and free up that authoritarian-chic late 1930s granite gallery space for something more fitting. #parthenonmarbles
George Osborne says on his @polcurrency.bsky.social pod that Keir Starmer has a more sensible & diplomatic approach to the issue of the Parthenon Marbles than Rishi Sunak (It would be hard to be less diplomatic: Ed)
Chair of the British Museum trust Osborne appears to confirm loan deal on the table.

Hi everyone, I'm really enjoying all you write. To introduce myself, I have a degree in archaeology - the main benefit of which is the licence to punch nazis. Haven't used it yet - not my style at all - but nice to know it's there.
