It seems punitive at this point. Like they personally don’t like Irwin and they keep putting him out there so he can suffer. Or maybe they keep putting out there so the Nat fans will suffer.

I was I could apply for the job of Nats starting pitcher. It’s probably the most stable job in DC these days. First Corbin, then Williams, now Parker and Irwin. No matter what you do, no matter how bad you pitch, you can’t lose your job in the rotation. Now that is gig!

Keeping Irvin and Parker in the rotation is not helping the team and is actually a disservice to both of them. They can each use some time in AAA to fix whatever is wrong. Not saying Alvarez and Cornelio from Rochester are great fixes, but they probably won’t be worse than this.

Respect earns respect. This team has done nothing other than disrespect it fans with increased prices and limited spending on players the last 6 years. I deserve a trophy for sustained fanship.

Mistake after mistake with this team. Rebuild has clearly failed. May be painful, but a new start is needed again. Need to restock and trading Gore and Abrams is the only way to do that.
