And none of us truly knows which category we fall into until we are there, in it ourselves. Easy to judge now, but would we put our kids in the balance to help strangers? The true problem, in this case, is of course Trump.

4 years? Try 4 generations. Europe will move on without Murica.

I don't know. Some people, given the right knowledge at the right time, probably earned a buck or two on this. And I think one of them is orange.

So they got worse at catching the illegal immigrants? It does say fewer illegal immigrants entered the country, just that they caught less of them.

It wasn't leaked.

Strong men?

It won't be perfect, just less imperfect than privately owned media.
March 12, 2025 at 7:05 AM
Isn't the problem there rather that a large part of the media is privately owned? And then it becomes a matter of politicians cozying up to those owners, or vice versa.

It is fairly obvious that the goal is not to stop spending. It is about controlling the flow of what is spent and to what it is being spent on. I am sure that will allow certain parts of that expenditure to disappear, but not in the way you think.

Frigging Trumptards. He spews any kind of drivel to anyone who will listen, only to turn around and do whatever whims he has at the moment.
March 3, 2025 at 3:36 PM
The only thing we could be certain of is that he would jump at any opportunity to exploit the weak to further enrich himself.

The Bezos Post yet again with propaganda for his buddy in government takeover. There is no credibility in this paper.
March 2, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Now this is truly cheap clickbait. Likening your GTD to Elon Musk harassment of government workers is just bad taste, in general. In the current climate there could be much harder words for it.
March 2, 2025 at 5:21 AM
These are the people that our system and democratic processes elevate to power. Bleak.
February 28, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Washington Post, owned by Bezos, tries to downplay and rugsweep the most embarrassing and shameful diplomatic display the world has seen in ages. No surprise there.
February 28, 2025 at 10:27 PM
At this point I think he needs to be fought, not ignored.
February 28, 2025 at 10:09 PM
So, one of the differences between the current administration and the previous administration is that they support and enable human traffickers. Got it.

"Musk [...] said the emails serve as a way to check whether workers are real, alive and can "write an email.""

How do they know who answers these emails? One person could answer many emails. Or a bot for that matter. It doesn't make sense.
February 27, 2025 at 6:05 AM
This is glorious!
February 25, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Even if they did, it would still be the swasticar. Musk and Tesla brand are very tightly coupled. If nothing else it will be very interesting to see how this plays out.
February 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Strengt tatt forståelig det vel.
February 25, 2025 at 8:45 AM
How do they expect to verify anyone's story here?
February 22, 2025 at 9:59 PM
There is a chance the fall of perception and trust in US will cost you a lot more in the future than you gain here and now.
February 22, 2025 at 8:02 PM
Sometimes you have to choose between two evils.

But the perception of US is damaged beyond generations.
February 22, 2025 at 8:01 PM
What is the point of this blame game? Trump is the one "doing it" right now, while people waste time quibbling about what-ifs years and decades ago.
