I got back to the hotel around 4:30am and slept deeply.

From what I saw, there were 18-20 year-olds kids messing around in the streets, homeless people sleeping with a surprising sense of peace, their faces soft and relaxed. There were also lovers, sex workers, street-cleaning staff, and a few amnesiac tourists drifting through the night.

I feel the mountains
weighing on my chest.
I hear that heavy echo,
