Indeed. Almost as though they wish to make an example of him to everyone else. I doubt it has the intended effect.

Very much looking forward to binging on the series that is going to be made from this episode of history. Still not sure what genre it will be in, or if I will be in another body when I see it, but looking forward to it nonetheless.

All I know is that I really hope I survive to see the movie made about this period of history. Will it be a true-crime drama? A farcical comedy? Will I have to wait until we rebuild civilization to see it?

I very much agree with this "unpopular" opinion. In this vast universe, we are all we have. Our species rose to the top by cooperation and caring about each other. The only hope we have as a species is to continue doing that.
