Mostly harmless. Tsundoku practitioner. Too many interests and not enough time. Information provided is generally 100% accurate and equally useless.
Top boardgames I played in 2025.

2nd solo play of Cross Bronx Expressway by @gmtgames.bsky.social. Turns out that city planning is hard. Made it to the end this time without triggering any of the loss conditions. Played the 1970' & 80's with the Community faction winning. Really need to play this as a primarily cooperative game.

Been looking forward to Cross Bronx Expressway since it was first announced. Played the 1940 start and lost due to disenfranchisement. To me it's more abstract than other COIN/ICS games. Fun and interesting but it's difficult and it's going to take more playtime for me to connect cause & effect.

Some of the boardgames I've played this year. It gets into single-digit plays and thus alphabetical order, so I obviously need to make more time for games.

Post a screenshot of your first 5 Steam purchases and let Bluesky judge you

Open the Steam client, click your name in the top right -> account details -> View purchase history and scroll down.

I joined Steam in 2005 so even my account history is missing about the first 5 years of purchases.

No particular order except Eternal Sunshine at #1. I would also add:
Sinners
Arrival
The Wind Rises

My first game of GCACW. Stonewall Jackson's Way II, Across the Potomac. Played solo. Union got to Kearneysville first but then got pushed out and two really bad combat rolls left them ineffective. Marginal Confederate victory.

A total solar eclipse is probably the coolest thing I will ever get to see in my life, and that makes me luckier than most.
