Far more hateful? I guess that you are one of these people who believe that hate, which is not directed at you, is just free speech until that hate speech is directed at or impacts you. I could be wrong, but for me, x is depressing. I do not want to read continuous racist rhetoric every day.

It appears to me that you are able to speak freely here. You call this an echo chamber, but I do not see messages from the owner of this site as the first thing I see every time I open it. An owner who promotes a political party and then goes to work for that party after influencing millions.

Making fun of "ridiculous views some people have" is not what I would call "respectfully challenging someone's views".

It's really not about being left or right. It's about being a decent human being who respects other human beings. The problem with x is that the majority of people do not respectfully challenge someone's views. They berate their views, label people, and use derogatory language.

Maybe the word racist is used so much nowadays due to the large number of racists that have crawled out from under their rocks because they are allowed to be racist on x. They can now find like-minded people there who can moan about race to each other and like racist comments.

If you have not seen racism on x, then you have no idea what racism is. What you call "open dialogue" on x nowadays is just people spewing hate, berating anyone that thinks differently to it's mass audience, name calling, and moaning about "wokism" (whatever that is supposed to be).
