It just occurred to me what an actual productive, noninvasive use of AI would be.
Reconstruction of the missing/lost Doctor Who episodes, using all the existing footage from the Hartnell and Troughton eras.

Flipping through one of my comic boxes, I came across my issues of Marvel 1602, and remember thinking how that was an interesting alternative take of the universe. But I forgot that it was written by @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com. I think I might need to read that series again.

The comics, and I had this, with two of the cartridges. Both cartridges had a collection of scenes, from key parts of the first movie. It was also my first foray into editing, when I opened them both up, and spliced the footage together, to put the scenes in the proper order.
