Stranger Things is finally coming back! I sketched out this design while watching the mall scene from Season 3 and released the quilt pattern for Season 4. I’ll be curling up under the full-size version to watch Season 5 and the pattern is on sale now so you can make your own watch quilt too!

I finished my first of two Halloween quilt projects today - I have to hurry because on Saturday I’ll have lost all interest in anything undone until next fall. This cross-stitch pattern is from the Caterpillar Cross Stitch sub box and it is finished using my own method.

A pretty rainbow scrap quilt to kick off the week! This was a leaders and enders quilt that I worked on all summer. I love how the colors fall through it instead of being in a rigid pattern. You can find the pattern in the book Zero Waste Quilting.

I haven’t finished a quilt since May (though three(!) tops are currently being quilted) and needed some instant quilt gratification so I sewed up this mini quilt which I call “Duck Ghost”. Pattern is by Quiet Play and has loads of other animal ghosts too.

A small quilting break - my child requested a dice bag for D12s. Said child picked the fabrics and thread colors, and was thrilled by my suggestion to use a bit of leftover flannel as the lining. Another happy customer!

Update on my Pooh Corner quilt: Tigger is done and the top half is assembled! Kanga and Roo are the only block left to go!

My Mini Zephyr went to the quilt show in the “Miniatures” category. It has the same number of blocks as the full quilt, but the entire thing is smaller than a block in the full quilt. (Link to blog post/more photos in comments).

Another scrappy finish! This one (front, binding, flannel back) is made of scraps from finished quilt backs. I used black and white as accents in each row to tie the top together. Original block patterns by me, more details here: bluepipdesigns.blogspot.com/2025/06/the-...

This quilt is a heart project-each blue four-patch contains a different blue fabric from a project I worked on over the last seven years.Even the border and binding are leftovers from other projects. I recently ran out of the cream-colored squares, which meant it was time to promote it to the couch!

I wish I was on a sunny, internet-free beach like the one in this cross-stitch mini quilt, but all I have is this one full of winter debris (at least there’s no snow!).

The first quilt above is a rainbow version with a scrappy background fabric as well as feature fabric. This one was made by my mother-in-law and uses scrappy bee fabric!
