He/him. Universal healthcare, living wages, affordable housing, and equal representation aren't "radical."

Trump simply ignores appropriations laws he doesn't like. It's fanciful to think this one will be any different. In a few weeks or months he'll throw some other tantrum and threaten more firings.

Don't be surprised when Trump later resumes illegal firings under some other conjured up justification, or again cuts off SNAP for additional leverage: There won't be a final judgement over either issue in court so he could just pick a random Thursday and we're back here with zero leverage. 4/

Often, the tactic is later resumed after all the previous litigation is ended as "moot" forcing targets back through the wringer of going to court. So in this case, the illegal firings or SNAP cuts are being reversed today, but the story is likely not over on either issue. 3/

All of those things are already legally required. Republicans have agreed to do things they're already required to do. They do this sometimes when they're losing in the court of public opinion to avoid final court judgements that might get in their way later. 2/

How has 30 years of letting the moderates corrupt their way to this point gone?
Because it looks like it's gone like shit.

This might shed some light on what's happening: They're all open for payoffs and actively taking bribes.

If it's not dementia it's just plain corruption. If the backstabbing 8 are acting against orders, strip them of committee assignments. If Schumer doesn't kick all of them off an important committee it's an endorsement of the betrayals.

The ones who aren't retiring will all be up eventually. Anyone who hasn't announced they'll be retiring might as well do so now.
Because I guarantee you a dozen or more qualified activists just got angry enough to start organizing for the Senate. And insurance won't be any cheaper in 2028.
