A progressive Christian, a dad, a husband, and an occasional wildland firefighter/prescribed burn practitioner, a social democrat, Army vet, and student of world history.

A lover of good cocktails, smoked meats, punk rock, good boots, and quality tools
Unlikely to be a good choice. I'm sure he's a fine leader, but he's being brought in to structure the service toward strategic goals that are not in the interest of the public.

I discovered the Mr. Magoo version only a few years ago and it's now a tradition. The animation is a wayback machine ride to the vibe of the mid-60's. Totally underappreciated.

I have had a smart TV since 2009. With any smart device the apps will eventually stop being updated. I now look for a dumb TV and use an external device for the apps. If you are into gaming a game console will have streaming apps. Many Blu-ray players have apps.

Grew up in MO...my favorite childhood memories are of being a Boy Scout in Hannibal...but with the level of MO red state cray cray I would not consider leaving Seattle to return.

Kindly review "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". What are they carrying?

In the '70s it was pillowcases or paper bags.

The concept of a specific Halloween-themed bucket was alien. I would argue it's wasteful and unnecessary.

Decorate that pillowcase if you like. Make it a holiday ritual.

...and that's exactly why they lined up behind fascism. They needed a complete disruption of the social and political order for a business model reset. They attempted to sell us for GPUs and a seat in the Rose Garden.

Fuck that. The surviving tech business models are rooted in feudalism and oligarchy. Show me a minimum viable product that promotes social democracy.

I have been in this spot at least a thousand times and yet you manage to present a view I've never seen.

I need to be real. The skill that black America has developed for maintaining creative joy in the face of enduring oppression is a superpower that benefits everyone. Anyone can gaze at moments like this and feel uplifted, if just for a moment. Oases to sip from in a vast desert.
