Have always enjoyed US travel and have seen half the states, but cancelled a 10-day bucket list trip this summer because of border concerns.

I had to reread that, but the article says nearly all don’t support - nothing about 50%. At least in the part not behind the paywall. I guess that makes them somewhat less loathsome.

Much appreciated! I’ve always enjoyed visiting the US. 25 states and three territories so far. I have a ticket to the US Open. Might have to bite the bullet for that and go, as long as the border is still open.

I’ll miss being a volunteer at the Players. I was proud as a Canadian to be there working on the range. And now we’re all avoiding US travel and anything related to the US. The fascist regime has changed everything.

If he had any class at all (he doesn’t), he would take just one day and congratulate the winner on being chosen as party leader and becoming PM.

Evangelical Trump supporters may be religious extremists, but they’re not Christian.

I worry Trump’s desire to annex Canada is to ultimately gain unfettered access to that kind of stuff, as well as water and other resources, and if he can’t get what he wants through trade on his terms, he wouldn’t be above fabricating a military reason to just take it.
