Anyone who buys a restaurant or cafe and think you'll make money you WILL NOT. The market is high volumes, low margins and is saturated. Ask those doing it now, working hard with little reward. Nothing to do with any government or policy, just too many chasing too few punters.

REFORM are saying 1.3 million pensioners aren't in poverty it's a mobility problem. You should move house if you're a pensioner! A worker might chase a job but pensioners need to stay put, how else can they get their Health Insurance cheque to pay for the hip op or knee.

Seems Starmer just handed the Greens the by-election, Gorton and Denton seem to like Zacs lot. Starmer has delivered lots of things but doesn't deliver charisma. The look sometimes beats hard work, we have all worked with those who do little but take the credit.

As the working age goes up as we live longer, we need to let older workers re-train. They can move to work that give the older body a chance, especially in manual rolls. Even if the money is less, the older worker can be cash rich but time poor. The younger ones who need money would also benefit.
