Those of us who participated, even those of us who were barely involved in harassment at any point, need to contend with our pasts. We are still not immune to propaganda. Past involvement in a cultic milieu does not spare you from future involvement.

I think we need to contend with the impact they have had in furthering fascist goals. Freedom of expression is necessary, its important, harassment is a terrible thing to experience, and silencing people is a prominent authoritarian tactic.
