Yes, her short stories are amazing. I just shuddered remembering Monte Verita, which I haven't read in years. Such pacing, such imagery. I first read them when I was a kid and when I re-read them I thought they wouldn't be as good as I remembered, but they were better.

Oh no. London-Lille-Lyon is vital, avoiding trekking across Paris to change stations. And there already weren't enough trains!
