I can never leave again. How dare I leave this precious child. She has been so glued to me tonight that she followed me into the dreaded bathroom, and she never goes in there.

Yesss! I have a big old illustrated book and the pictures in it scared me so much that I was fascinated by them. I pulled the book down and it's nowhere near as bad as I remember, but it rarely is. I think kid me took the image of the small dog and pictures the larger ones and creeped herself out.

Thanks to @worldsbeyondnumber.bsky.social I find myself buying up Fox stuff lately (yes, including the talking one and the pin from the actual podcast). The face on this one cracked me up. He's just a little guy!

We still had subtitles on at the start of #AEWDynamite and I think my TV feels some kind of way about Kenny Omega.

From a puppy that was too terrified of everything to even let me pet her for the first couple weeks to a big sappy baby that has to be as pressed up against me as possible whenever she can be.

Maggie and Trixie are participating in flat Friday.

The Grim Readers Book Club met today to discuss Into the Drowning Deep by @seananmcguire.bsky.social (as Mira Grant). Everyone really loved it. We were all wishing for a greenlight for the sequel to happen because we all need more murder mermaids!

I made some ridiculous mushroom themed snacks, and brought some bunny cheese crackers and bunny graham crackers. Everyone was glad I didn't go as far as a murky punch with strange lights in it.

I helped start The Grim Readers Book Club for horror fans at Sweet Home Books im Wetumpka AL. Our latest read was What Moves the Dead by @tkingfisher.bsky.social. She was so nice and generous and sent us some signed bookplates!
