The firehose of fascism has us gasping for air, unable to comprehend—let alone respond to—the daily barage of assaults on democracy and our future. That is their goal.
When you are overwhelmed, too distraught to focus, too tired to fight back, know that is their goal too.

I was afraid that we might have reached herd immunity with courage, but it looks like it might still be contagious.
Comedian George Carlin kept it real in the 70s with his “7 words you can never say on television.” I hope there is a time 50 years into the future when we can look back to Colbert and Kimmel and celebrate that time they broke the back of government censorship.
