But here’s my issue with your original statement. Having “different language” for elective abortion vs abortion with a medical need divides the procedure into a bad/good dichotomy. Abortion is healthcare, period.

People who don’t want to be pregnant shouldn’t be forced to give birth. Period.

Excellent! I hope you practice that.

It sounds like the “choice” you prefer is for the woman to take responsibility for all birth control.
