A wonderful Christmas Day 2024 here in the Philippines with my wife’s family! Mom Maria in the center in red is nearly 100.
My wife Rosalina leading the charge on a narrow street in Santorini, Greece, around 1987. The boatload of a couple hundred all thought they were gonna die when the ship encountered a horrific storm on the way back to Heraklion, Crete. Only two of us on the entire ship did NOT get sick. An adventure!

I took this photo a couple days back, but noticed today that there appears to be an alphabetic string on the top black edge of the butterflies wing. I haven’t done anything intentional to the photo other than just cropping it. Is it just my brain or some type of Apple iPhone 15 camera glitch?

Just a short video of my wife chatting with our neighbor here in the Philippines. They’re likely speaking in Pampangan or possibly Tagalog. Just a sample of our visit on our 6th day here.

A huge, beautiful, flowering tree in our neighborhood in the Philippines. I think we have a similar plant in Texas, but typically not this large.
