I feel this a lot. Bsky has a vibe that's not too dissimilar from the old place, and that's not bad for lots of folks, but it also feels louder, and more active than the fediverse and that doesn't vibe well in my opinion.

But I am led to question, why did I make my life harder than it was, in a pursuit to make it less hard? (I didn't want to cook today, but it was my turn.) Turned out really well though. That recipe is a keeper.

I had one Brazillian friend in school that shared Brazillian music with me once upon a time, and I'm so happy she did, whenever I go and listen to some. ^^

Also, I was looking through my old hard drives (I have many) and I have a weird 80 GB SATA drive, which feels like a weird liminal time period.

The most interesting part is that one of those 4 TB drives was barely more expensive than a 40 GB hard drive when I was really little. Storage is so much cheaper than it once was. It's cool to have watched that happen.

When we've planned chicken, but I can't be bothered to plan anything special or pre-planned, I do something similar! Though I usually make my rice separately, because we steam rice instead of boil it to completion. I'm usually cooking for family though, so a separate pot makes sense.

I wonder if that work to fill in the layer lines that are resulting in the frosted appearance in a clear 3d print. I also noticed because I was melting part of it, that melting the layer lines together makes it mostly clear, so that's why I'm theorizing this direction.
