Same. This buyout, and now Universal’s hostile takeover bid, is truly concerning.

I'll drive my wife to work, run errands if necessary, but otherwise, my brain just isn't clicking along. Does ADHD and depression just unlock when we hit a certain level (age)? Nothing but my wife and cats are keeping me here. I barely function on good days, but this decade has just ground me up.

Oh, I forgot my wife's vintage goth clothing and oodles of action figures, including nearly every Palisades' Muppet figure and playset. Manga, vintage sewing patterns, half a craft store ... We're gonna die like the Collyer Brothers.

That includes vintage reference and educational (Foxfire) books, vinyl, some comics, video games, and even the occasional toy. Too bad we didn't plan better and buy a larger house, cuz ~999 sq ft. is now bulging at the seams. Zero regrets otherwise.

My wife and I totally agree with all your points. We do pay for a couple streaming services, and a music app, and I read samples of new books digitally (95% of the time). But, if we enjoy anything we see/hear/read, we put in the effort - as much as possible these days - purchase physical media.

Wow, thank you! I saw it this morning during a sleep-addled scroll, but didn’t think anything about it, thought maybe it was digital. Now, I have one more upgrade off my list! Thanks, man!

We compared the signature to others online, and it's spot-on. I have no interest in the value of the autograph, I'm just over the moon to have one of my favorite and most formative authors! I have no idea if Salvatore is on BlueSky, but I knew you'd get a kick out of it like I did.

I looked it over when it arrived, as it was listed in acceptable condition. Tonight, I was showing my wife and she spotted something I missed and wasn't noted in the listing.

I’m actually rather sad that my wife liked the but film but admitted she’d never be able to watch it again. I’m hesitant to admit that I sort of agree, because it’s so bleak, but we’re well past whatever age bracket liked “Saw," but it was a still a good watch, didn't take itself too seriously.

I’m still processing what few horror movies we managed to get in for Halloween #covidstillsucks2025, but “Weapons” stands out.

I buy as many of these collections as I'm able, in hopes that #BFI will include "The Witches and the Grinnygog" someday. My wife has been obsessed with the short film for decades, so I am, too. #grinnygog

For those that, I'm sure, are curious, we were looking forward to Ian Holm (RIP) covered in blood again, after @arrowvideo.bsky.social 's "Frankenstein." Why all the hate for Kenneth Branagh's adaptation, BTW?

How did I not know that “Beware of Darkness” was a George Harrison cover?! I used to fly my Beatles fan proudly! #colormeembarassed

I don't think I want an answer - I certainly won't like it! - but what would a "Return of the Living Dead" smell like. Formaldehyde? Rabid weasels?

That was one of the final figures I got as a kid, because narcissist mothers are a thing, and I recall how cool but totally useless in battle he'd be. Too bad I can't dip into that line now. #PhysicalMedia demands that I never stop ... I do have quite a few toys, but I had to choose.

At my age, I’d be more terrified of loose rocks or walnuts. I do not need to roll my ankle while some unquiet spirit or revenge-zombie is also keeping me from just going back home. The nerve …
