The end section of Park End was open earlier on. I assume it sold out so it will need someone to open more sections tomorrow?

Absolutely, the EU schemes would have made a huge difference. The government have put in £70 million into central docks this year, so that’s a start but we need private investment aswell and it doesn’t help when Peel as the owner of the land , won’t invest anything themselves.

There definitely is, but I just think we have recognise there are other projects that also have strong case for what is, limited money available. Also LCC like other councils have been stripped of funding, so they can only really help with things that don’t cost money.

There isn’t any money to build a station at the moment. Not until the next round of govt funding anyway. It could be argued Everton should contribute, as other clubs have had to do when building new stadiums. The best thing they could do in the short term is to sort a dedicated bus lane to town.

I really recommend parking anywhere south of the pier head (eg Liverpool One) and heading south out of the city centre. The roads are pretty clear. I live in South Liverpool and the 2 times I’ve driven I’ve been home an hour after the game (inc the 30 minute walk to the car).

We didn’t really have a recruitment team did we? They’d mostly left, at the top anyway. He’s on the transfer committee and has final say by all reliable accounts.
