If you're rich and have money to burn, you'll be fine with a 50 year mortgage loan. More like, you won't need a 50 year mortgage because you can afford to pay the mortgage off. It's a massive grift. Legalized stealing. The mortgage will out live you!

You're not getting a great deal spreading your mortgage payment out to 50 years. The payments may be low, but those low payments lock you into paying on the interest. Not the principle. In the long run, you will have paid 4 to 5 times the worth of the loan and still would be paying on the interest.

Don't get a 50-year mortgage. It's a massive grift. Trump and the banks know this! Homeowners will never be able to pay down the interest, much less the principal. I wonder if this will be mandatory to buy a home?

After what Schumer and the Senate Democrats did, it wouldn't surprise me if the Democrats get the blame and they lose the next election. Why? Because the Democrats tend to lose on messaging. Trump and MAGA have won the messaging war.

The Tea Party helped complete the demise of our democracy. The planing of this demise started back in the early 1980's. The circle is complete. This will have to be undone by the younger generations because the old guard is missing in action.

They hate everything the Constitution stands for. The Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society guise it under 'states rights' but in reality, they want a Feudal Society. The rich want to own it all. While we are their laborers that are indentured to them for the pittance they throw to us.

I woke up today with a solid realization that 'we the people' really don't have a say in our government or are allowed to participate. Our government lets us think we do, but we really don't. 😥 The struggle continues, but I will not lie down. I will march, and I will vote.

If this deal was already a done deal before the November election and those 8 to 10 senators agreed to fall on their swords, why do we constituents even bother to vote? It was all about retaining power at the expense of the American Citizens. All a power game. They premeditated their move. 🤬

What excuse will Moses Mike Johnson come up with for not opening the government? He got everything he and Trump claim to have wanted. In reality, Trump doesn't want the government opened because of the Epstein files. MAGA will come to understand this shutdown was all about the files real soon.

The election we just had was all for naught! We knew the assignment but apparently the Democratic Senators didn't!

It was all for naught! The people spoke and the Democrats said "hold my beer" and spit in that beer! The people knew what they wanted and needed and the Democrats in Congress thought they knew better than their constituents. Moderates, GOP and even some MAGA'S spoke with the Democrats. We got zero.

When will we learn as voters who put democrats into Congress. They capitulate and cave everytime. They cave because the interest of their donors out trump their constituents. They put their power ahead of the people. They have no spines and no cajonies.

I have never heard of Enlisted members of the Armed Services being sworn in at a football game. You get sworn in at MEPS. For reenlistments, a military members can get sworn in at any location they wish to, within reason. Trump swearing in enlisted members at a football game was pr bs!

The Democrats aren't stupid! They're PAB'S who think capitulating will win them votes and favorable PR. They have no spines! Get the old guard out and let the young takeover. The old guard doesn't have the fight in them.

If the democrats cave, I will change my party affiliation to Independent. The Democrats are lousy at messaging and fighting. They are riding a win and now they are about to give it away. Why? Because they don't want to get blamed for the air travel mess that the GOP caused.

Trump said "I don't want to hear about affordability" when asked about high prices. Tell that to federal workers and the military working without pay. Furloughed Federal Employees, SNAP recipients, the working poor as he shoves a silver spoon down his mouth to dine on a rich man's meal.

In Washington State. We're paying over $4.00's a gallon. Trump has never filled up at the pump. He hasn't got a clue.
