Spin this right, avoid infighting, and Dems will look good. Progressives will never get what they want if moderates don't win rural districts. Democrats fought the good fight but we have to support government workers. If the Republicans don't keep the bargain they will pay at the ballot box.

It seems the Democrats don't have an end game. Plan A: State your objections, warn about the consequences, then protect federal workers. Loss of health insurance will play out in the election when you can blame the Republican congress.
