It's been a while! Workin' on a fancy new sona design.

Every so often I am like, "Gosh I wish I could do another pull/open another pack/etc," but then I look at a subreddit and the whales are shrieking that they SPENT MONEY and now THERE'S NOTHING LEFT TO DO IN THE GAME and I'm like, "Ohhhh... I am going at the correct speed, actually."

Far be it from me to criticize anyone for playing gatcha bullshit when I've been playin' Magic: the Gathering for like 25 years, but it does always boggle my mind when players spend real actual money to fast-track their way through a game, then turn around and complain that the game went too fast.

The Nintendo DS was the ideal gaming setup in terms of controls. nothing against controllers, but having a second screen to hold the game's UI, which you could then physically touch and manipulate? Incomparable.

AND it could fold in half so all its bits were protected when you weren't using it.

I play a lot of TTRPGs, and I really want to experiment with using item cards for inventory management. But I don't really play the big games like D&D or Pathfinder, so a lot of the options I could buy just aren't super helpful. So obviously I gotta do things the hard way and make my own, right? 😅

I mostly GM for my tabletop group and I do love it. The best thing about being a player, though, is having time to draw! Last campaign that I played in, I made lil character cards of the whole party. :3
