I obviously don’t wanna use any ai
TTS could help a bit, but just a lil’ bit
So, my only real option is to find some ppl to voice chars
Which is another problem, coz I am a jobless weirdo with ideas and ambitions and no money and ppl don’t work for free

The bigger problem for me is voice acting
Well, the project has quite a few characters
Many of them are women
And for me, a “doin’ everything by maself” guy it is a problem
Kinda a big one
Okay, I can voice, like, 3 or 4 characters by toying with effects but that’s my limit

Now not such a positive part, the visuals
It’s a tricky thing, coz I have no problem with making somethin’ “VHS-like”
My artstyle is the real problem
I draw in a very cartoony style and it’s not particularly scary
My two options are:
- Change artstyle (don’t like idea)
- Find a way to make it scary

The music is no problem, coz I can write some myself
I, actually, like writing it, just didn’t have an opportunity to share
A few tracks that I’ve made for the project already are kinda nice imo and have “Trust In Me” motive lol

The series is gonna be called “Two Islands”
I don’t have much of a script yet ( Except for a few first episodes ) but I have a general direction and themes
There will be a whole episode ‘bout hypnosis and my hot takes on how it works but the whole thing is mostly not ‘bout hypno

The problem is that I haven’t done literally anything in a video format before, so I need to learn quite a few things
I’m writing this thread to share some progress on the project and complain a bit
Gonna begin with things I CAN do / Have no troubles with
