It is true, because its easy to think bigger=better. But I think your point of strenght is how you can convey a sense of power through veins/shape and motion

Unlike the economy one, I really like this kind of "asset inflation"

Ever sice the nurse arc, you awakened the love for very big pillows in me. So I think it would be great

Yeah, she was very talented...
I only watched the 1988 movie, do you recommend the sequel?

Toshiya Shinohara's "Dive into Wonderland". I put it in the replies to the sketch post

I'm so happy my quick piece sparked your imagination!
For a brief moment in the movie the protagonist girl plays a small prank on Alice. Her mischievous expression built the link with Satsuki instantly

Arguably, the idea of the swimmers getting no chance to reach their goal adds to it.
Expecially if they get eaten.
A true romantic sees the tragic appeal of an unwinnable situation

4/4 I also much prefer my pencil sketch (Expecially for Satsuki's smug aura) but I suck at coloring so I had to settle with painting in the worse ink version. I liked the concept too much to give up on it.

3/4 I really liked the character design of Shinohara's Queen of Hearts, but I changed a few things around (botched the hair and stole Anne Boleyn squared neckline)
January 29, 2026 at 2:02 AM
2/4 However, the main character eyes reminded me of Muchin's Satsuki all the time. Her temperament is the polar opposite of Satsuki so I had some fun imagining what would happen if she was swapped.

1/4 I recently had a chance to see Toshiya Shinohara's version of Alice in Wonderland.
I found this "safe" and cute version of Wonderland, refreshing. Expecially in contrast with Burton's movies, they rely on the madness/danger factor of the setting too much for my taste.

Witnessing one your girls stretching someones throat out would make my day!

We salute your sacrifice of drawing ugly ojisan to make the girls beauty stand out 🫡

Yeah stuff like that is frustrating, I lost a couple of days trying to make it work
January 23, 2026 at 12:27 PM
Don't feel bad about it, stuff like that happens to everyone. I once made a laptop unusable triyng to install a new operating system

Your works make every month a special event! By the way, have you ever tasted Modica chocolate (モディカチョコレート)?
It's my favourite

I used to hate Valentines day, but now I'm looking foward to see what you're going to publish. So I am very grateful too!
January 21, 2026 at 11:11 AM
For me, if it has enough heartbreak or comedic element, it would be even better than some forced h content (2/2)
January 20, 2026 at 5:48 PM
I belive that if the artis feels an element as "forced" it ends up messing with the overall composition of the work.
However, I bet some smartasses would complain if its missing. Personally, this is an extra you are gifting to us, so you should follow your instinct. (1/2)

I also have that feeling and I'm often wondering how much of it is me getting old or if its just the crazy times we are living in
January 17, 2026 at 2:32 PM
I see, thats tough, expecially staying in the Valentine theme...maybe a maid from a Cafe holding a special event?
(This is a terrible idea, the frills of the dress are really tough to draw).
The Feb. release is already going to be so good, maybe even just a doodle for Valentine would be an exrra

Bonus points if the waitress surprises the couple by smashing her stick on a very expensive dessert plate
January 12, 2026 at 6:47 PM
Not sure if i got the translation right, but an idea for a Valentine day illustration could be: a guy inviting his crush to a fancy dinner date and getting ntr'd by a waitress
January 12, 2026 at 6:46 PM
No need to feel sorry, good luck with your work!
