i do like the idea that izuku is too guilty in regards of katsuki’s death that he ended up distancing himself.
guilt for being too close to kacchan. for putting an importance in kacchan. for not being able to save kacchan. that’s what got katsuki killed, that’s what caused his death.

i think having a character clinging onto a broken or forgotten dream of another character—- especially if it’s a shared dream will always make me sad

the thing with izukatsu is. it doesn’t even have to be romantic but their bond is undeniable. there’s care, there’s love, there is passion and drive to better each other, to be something in the other’s lives. but now it’s nothing more than someone i used to know best and idk. it’s sad

i don’t care much about canon normally but this really does spoil Izuku as a character for me that. i don’t want to think about it. maybe give it a few weeks and i’ll be okay with Izuku again
