For those of us in the US that have any involvement in manufacturing of any kind…We know it’s absolute bullshit. I have three specialty suppliers of hard to produce product that are all in Canada. He’s made my life a living hell in general AND at work.

The technical expertise to obtain quality parts, the manufacturing capacity, the tooling needed - these aren’t things I can just shove to another vendor tomorrow. It will probably be a year or more to move them IF (and that’s a big if) I can find a viable vendor to produce them in the US.

Yeah there’s little to no understanding of the manufacturing intricacies. And it’s not just aluminum. I have a Canadian vendor who mainly deals in aluminum, but also provides specialty steel parts to us, supporting a couple US plants.

I was able to get mine replaced early (year 5) with the complaint I had intermittent bleeding after no periods for years. Even insurance approved it thankfully. Wanted to make sure I’m covered this whole term!

For the sake of your mental health - it’s a must to just tune out sometimes. Especially now.
