Oooh, neat! I've always been fascinated by audio design. Like how do people even get the ideas to use some object to mimic a completely different sound? Couldn't be me with my audio processing issues. 😂

(3/4) What if beetle is Loop instead of Loop is beetle?
(Seriously if you like bugs you should search for "african woolly chafer beetle" right now they're the cutest things ever you gotta you gotta see one they're so round and fluffy)
A drawing of beetle-like Loop from the previous posts, who now looks more beetle than Loop. They most resemble a woolly chafer beetle with their fluffy body and large tibia spikes. Their head is star-shaped like their canon design, but they have big, beady eyes. They’re on a plain grey background with the words “GET BOOPED” in large text surrounding them. Underneath it, there’s smaller, faded text that says “(beetle looped)”.

A reference drawing of beetle-like Loop from the previous post, showing them standing from the front and from the back. From the back, it shows that their elytra combined with the shell that goes across their shoulders forms a shape similar to Siffrin’s cloak. Their scutellum is somewhat star-shaped, and it has a pixelated glow like the star on their chest.

Bonus sillies! I experimented in the carver to learn its limitations before planning, and these are the 5-minute abominations that resulted. Light Mode Loop killed me when I first saw them <3

My regular(?) art style is a little different from this, but I have a whole childhood's worth of Sonic the Hedgehog-style muscle memory that I could draw from 😂
