What a blessing to get to be part of a choir. I've been in choirs for 58 years and hope to continue as long as I have a voice and can hear the music. It feeds my soul.

Even though the Fair Housing Act was passed in 1968, people continue to face obstacles to renting or buying housing due to their race, ethnicity, sex, familial status, national origin or disability. We must continuously advocate for equal housing rights for all.

May we always be on the lookout for kids who are being abused and support them to get to a place of safety and love. May churches educate young adults on how to be good parents (loving and supporting their children in healthy ways) & be a safe place for parents to seek help if they are struggling.

Let's be safe places for victims to tell their stories, be protected and get help. Let's raise children to respect and protect others. Let's hold all abusers accountable to the law, even if they are powerful or well respected.

We, Christians, are called now more than ever 3 stand boldly 4 the virtues that define our faith: love, mercy, grace, justice, inclusion, & humility. These aren't mere words but the qualities of Jesus Himself.
In today’s world, many of these virtues are under attack, diminished or misrepresented.

Fall 2018. My husband took me to his Sunday School class in January of 2014 or 2015, but the photo's been lost. Rosalynn was with him that day. He was a great promoter of women in ministry & asked a visiting woman minister to say the opening prayer for the class. A great Christian & humanitarian.
