Ten years ago today I got my DUI. Since then I have been divorced, estranged from one of my children, and moved to a different state. It has been a long ten years but now I am engaged to the love of my life. I can’t wait for the next ten years!

As Saint Patrick’s Day weekend approaches, please prioritize safety. Remember that drinking and driving is never the solution. Ten years ago this week, I made a regrettable mistake by getting a DUI. I not only embarrassed myself but also brought shame to my family and friends.
