DELTARUNE chapter 3 + 4, were such a delight. The characters and writing are so good, it’s probably the funniest game ever, but still manages to be very heartfelt. The combat is brilliant, and they’re still able to surprise me with twists on the gameplay and story. The music is also as good as ever.

Until Then has my favorite romantic couple in a video game, and possibly my favorite romance story in a game as well. I got really invested in the romantic relationship between Mark and Nichole, which I was not expecting. The supporting characters are great too, Cathy especially was wonderful.

Shadow Generations is the first time I enjoyed a 3D Sonic game since Sonic Generations. The Sonic 06 level was the best one. I’m interested in seeing them take this formula in a full game. Can Shadow be playable in the next Smash Bros., please?

I made a Marvel Tokon prediction roster. I wouldn’t be surprised if the base roster is smaller than this, but 30+ characters is the ideal outcome in my opinion.
I wanted to make sure I added a lot of the really big, popular characters while still adding some surprising, more obscure characters.

Finally got around to finishing Doom Eternal. This game fucking rocks man. More of the high octane combat and music I loved from Doom (2016), though I think I prefer the pacing of that game a bit more.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart has some fun gadgets, and gameplay, and looks incredible, but I can’t help but be disappointed by how toothless the writing is compared to the PS2 games. The satire present in those games is gone, and we’re left with a very bland story, comedy, and characters.

Metroid II is quite good for a GameBoy game, but I probably wouldn’t have finished it if I didn’t use a map. Playing the first two games has given me a greater appreciation for this series.

The unorthodox production of Climax led to an unforgettable film. The way they familiarize you with the cast before having them become unhinged shells of their former selves, along with the uncertainty of their fates greatly unsettled me. Also the dance sequence near the beginning was extraordinary.

Been catching up on some movies from 2024. Nickel Boys, A Different Man, A Real Pain and Conclave are all great.

Dream Scenario has such an interesting concept that starts off silly and light hearted, then gets really dark and depressing, and it’s kind of amazing.
