There is another braided tassel on top. The hat will be even cuter when worn by the most adorable niece in the world.

Hat I'm #knitting for my youngest niece is off the needles and the ends are woven in. I just need to add the tassels and block it.

Hee! And it's the second one I've made her - I knitted a hat, scarf, and mitten set when she was born. According to my sister, my baby niece liked to wear that scarf around her head:

The furious knitting pace has paid off - the scarf for my youngest niece is done!
